Agnova
Agnova stands on the top of a ridge clearly visible from the surrounding areas, and at the end of the town, on a hill, there is the pretty little church dedicated to S. Giusta. This place preserves numerous stone buildings built between the second half of the 1700s and the 19th century, with simple but elegant entrance doors and windows, adorned with straight frames and shaped shelves with decorations. A house dated 1780 has a portal with floral decorations and a protome of a little angel. The town has been mentioned in sources since 1134. Inside the church, there is a baroque wooden altar with twisted columns and an eighteenth-century canvas depicting S. Giusta, S. Pietro and S. Paolo. The remaining inhabitants are very hospitable. The toponym "La Nuova Terra" indicates a recently founded site.
The feast of the Patron Saint, S. Giusta, is celebrated on August 1st.
