From Cortino to Monte Fanum

Starting from the Cortino Hostel at 1050 meters above sea level, follow the path that descends into the Fosso Riello, crossing the villages of Servillo, Pagliaroli and Collegilesco, to then reach the ford of the Tordino river near the old water mill of Casanova. This area has recently been restored to offer a rest area for tourists and visitors. The most significant path from an environmental and naturalistic point of view starts right from the mill. Going up the river, you come across landscapes characterized by a succession of "water features" and well-marked waterfalls.

The path continues through the towns of Iscarelli, Abetemozzo and Ginepri, until reaching Monte Fanum, an ancient Italic necropolis located near Torricella Sicura.
