Leave the Cortino Hostel and take the "woodcutters" path which climbs upwards and leads towards the plateau. As you continue you gain altitude, and you witness the radical change in the flora which becomes more and more dense.
You walk along the Fosso della Cavata, where the waters of the Tordino springs flow and climb up until you reach Pizzo di Moscio at an altitude of 2,411 m. Here you can admire spectacular views that open onto the Teramo mountains.
You walk along the crest of Monte Gorzano (2458 m) and descend to Piazzale del Ceppo, where the itinerary ends.
